2008 RYDER CUP
The Ryder Cup is easily the most compelling event in golf, spanning 34 matches played over 77 years. The thrill of match play competition between the greatest golfers from Europe and the United States has produced some of the most dramatic and exciting contests in all of sport.
After decades of dominating the competition, the Americans have lost three in a row and five of the last six. Captain Paul Azinger will be keen to regain the trophy from his ABC golf telecast booth-mate and Ryder Cup rival Nick Faldo, who will captain the Europeans.
The matches will be played at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville and will be the largest international sporting event ever held in Kentucky. Valhalla, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1986, has been the host of the 1996 and 2002 PGA Championships and the 2004 PGA Senior Championship. Consistently ranked as one of the best in America. Valhalla has a links style front nine while the back is more traditional. This spectacular layout should serve as a real test to the game’s greatest players as they come together in golf’s ultimate competition.
The Old Course Experience has two unique programs available:-

The Four Night Program enables you to attend the 37th Ryder Cup matches and enjoy accommodation in the Embassy Suites. Golf on local courses can be arranged as can upgrading you tickets to include the official, on course hopsitality facilities.

The Embassy Suites
Located in the heart of Kentucky's Bluegrass Country at the University of Kentucky Coldstream Research Campus. International Pavilion
The International Pavilion is a sports-themed, climate-controlled facility located on the grounds of Valhalla Golf Club. It will feature an abundance of television monitors, and an enjoyable selection of food and beverage options, available at an additional charge. Each International Pavilion Ticket holder will receive a copy of the official Ryder Cup Journal.

Samuel Ryder Club
The Samuel Ryder Club is located on the grounds of Valhalla Golf Club. This high-end hospitality venue features a country club-like atmosphere, breakfast and lunch buffets, afternoon desserts and hors d’oeuvres, and a full premium bar. Ticket holders will be seated at reserved tables and receive a copy of the official Ryder Cup Journal.
